2008 Trierenberg Super Circuit - Austria Gold Medal - Panorama "Shorncliffe Pier" __________________________________ For the second year in a row, Michael has won the Gold Meldal in the Panorama Section of the Trierenberg Super Circuit, one of the largest photo competitions in the world. In 2007, Michael won the Gold medal in the same section for Tuscan Sun.

2008 Trierenberg Super Circuit - Austria Gold Medal - Photo Travel "Taxi Rank - Venice" __________________________________ In his second year of entering the Trierenberg Super Circuit, Michael has gone one better than 2007 winning a second gold medal, this time in the Photo Travel section. "Taxi Rank - Venice" is one of Michael's favourite shots, taken just of St Marks Square, looking toward the Grand Canal. Like 2007, Michael has been invited to Linz in Austria to accept his award in October.

2008 AIPP Award - Silver Landscape - Non Composite "Quiet Waters - Thailand" __________________________________ 2008 was the first year Michael entered the annual Australian Institute of Professional Photographer Awards. Quiet Waters - Thailand was taken by Michael on his commissioned trip to Thailand with Samaritans Purse. Michael wishes to thank his guides, Tat and Mot for their help in finding so many wonderful locations whilst in Thailand.

Michael won the prestigious Gold Medal in the Panorama division for his image of "Tuscan Sun". Michael was invited to Linz in Austria to accept his award in October 2007.
